Locally there are four restaurants within 5 minutes walk, a large international supermarket is just 3 minutes walk and the charming historic town centre of Lagos is less than 20 minutes walk, here you find a vast choice of Portuguese and International restaurants, all types of shops, boat/cave trips, Marina, fitness centre, medical services/hospital, ATM/bank.

The surrounding area is rich in natural beauty with rolling hills, flora and fauna.
Activies include; tennis, cycling, water-sports, horse riding, museums, shopping and zoo.
Golf; Boavista golf course is situated just within 5 minutes drive. Palmares golf course 10 minutes drive, and other golf courses 15-20 minutes drive.
There is a town beach in Lagos and another gorgeous long golden sand beach Meia Praia which is past the Marina. Along the Algarve coast many more fantastic beaches, surfing, sailing, paragliding, naturist and lots more.
